About The Position

The Merchandise Leader supports the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining AEO Brand Visual Standards and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on executing Floorsets, marketing and merchandising updates, daily merchandising adjustments, and replenishment so the store remains guest-ready. The Merchandise Leader trains and coaches the Floorset team, helps set productivity goals, maintains standards throughout the store, and works with leadership to identify and act on merchandising opportunities. The role also supports team understanding of merchandising standards, promotes a culture of recognition, and helps maintain safety and shrink-reduction practices while following AEO policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Love AE and Aerie products.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with priority-setting and time-management skills.
• Flexible availability to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.
• A history of retail work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandising Team Leader in providing an outstanding guest experience and ensuring the store reflects AEO Brand Standards.
• Train and coach the Floorset team, set clear productivity goals, and ensure store areas are executed to Floorset standards.
• Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
• Identify merchandising opportunities, plan with leadership, and take action.
• Help the team maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Keep the guest experience the merchandising team’s top priority and champion recognition and celebration of team successes.
• Maintain store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom.
• Support shrink-reducing strategies and adhere to AEO policies and procedures.
