About The Position

The Merchandise Leader is the Merchandising Team Leader’s right hand, supporting the store’s AEO Brand Visual Standards and guest-ready presentation. The role focuses on effective Floorset execution, marketing and merchandising updates, replenishment, and maintaining the store’s visual standards. The Merchandise Leader works with and coaches the merchandising team, partners with store leadership, prioritizes the guest experience, and represents AEO’s company values.

Requirements

• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.
• A history of retail work.
• Flexible availability to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Merchandising Team Leader to deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain AEO Brand Standards.
• Train and coach the Floorset team, set productivity goals, and ensure store areas are executed to Floorset standards.
• Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment; identify merchandising opportunities and coordinate action with leadership.
• Support the Merchandising Team Leader in helping the team maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Keep the merchandising team focused on the guest experience, foster recognition, and celebrate team wins.
• Maintain safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom, support shrink-reducing strategies, and follow AEO policies and procedures.
