About The Position

The Merchandise Leader supports the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining AEO Brand Visual Standards and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on executing Floorsets, marketing and merchandising updates, day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment so the store remains guest ready. The Merchandise Leader trains and coaches the Floorset team, sets productivity goals, and helps the team maintain brand standards. They also promote teamwork and recognition, support store safety and shrink-reduction practices, and follow AEO policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.
• A history of retail work.
• Attention to detail, organization, priority-setting, and time-management skills.
• Flexible availability for early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Passion for AE and Aerie products.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandising Team Leader in ensuring the store meets AEO Brand Standards and provides an outstanding guest experience.
• Train and coach the Floorset team, set clear productivity goals, and ensure store areas are executed to Floorset standards.
• Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment to keep the store in good condition.
• Identify merchandising opportunities, plan with leadership, and take action.
• Help the merchandising team understand and maintain brand standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Keep the guest experience the merchandising team's top priority and foster recognition and celebration of team successes.
• Maintain store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom.
• Support shrink-reducing strategies and adhere to AEO policies and procedures.
