About The Position

The Merchandise Leader supports the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining AEO Brand Visual Standards and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on executing Floorsets and merchandising and marketing updates, maintaining effective replenishment, and keeping the store guest-ready. The Merchandise Leader trains and coaches the Floorset team, sets productivity goals, and helps ensure all store areas meet Floorset standards. They also manage day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment; collaborate with store leadership on merchandising opportunities; support the team in maintaining brand standards; champion recognition and celebrate team successes; and uphold safety, shrink-reduction, and company-policy requirements.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.
• A history of retail work.
• Organization, attention to detail, priority-setting, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store represents AEO Brand Standards.
• Train and coach the Floorset team, set clear productivity goals, and ensure all store areas are executed to Floorset standards.
• Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
• Identify merchandising opportunities, plan with leadership, and take action.
• Support the Merchandising Team Leader in helping the team maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Keep the merchandising team focused on the guest experience.
• Champion a culture of recognition and celebrate team successes.
• Maintain store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom.
• Follow shrink-reducing strategies and AEO policies and procedures.
