About The Position

The Merchandise Leader supports the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining AEO Brand Visual Standards and an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on effective Floorset execution, marketing and merchandising updates, day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment to keep the store guest ready. The Merchandise Leader trains and coaches the Floorset team, sets productivity goals, and ensures store areas meet Floorset standards. The position also supports team understanding of merchandising standards, champions recognition, and helps maintain store safety and shrink-reduction practices while following AEO policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Passion for AE and Aerie products.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, priority-setting, and time-management skills.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.
• A history of retail work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandising Team Leader in delivering an outstanding guest experience and ensuring the store represents AEO Brand Standards.
• Train and coach the Floorset team, set productivity goals, and ensure all store areas are executed to Floorset standards.
• Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
• Identify merchandising opportunities, develop plans with leadership, and take action.
• Help the team maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Keep the guest experience the merchandising team's top priority and promote a culture of recognition and celebration.
• Maintain store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom.
• Follow shrink-reducing strategies and adhere to AEO policies and procedures.
