About The Position
The Mental Health Worker I will follow the plan of care as directed by RN, communicate information to the appropriate places, and perform safe patient care adhering to Policies and Procedures of Springfield Hospital. This role also involves taking responsibility for maintaining and/or increasing knowledge base in area of practice, assisting in the management of the milieu in accordance with policy and procedures to ensure safety and a therapeutic environment, and leading and co-leading groups as appropriate.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Group leadership skills
- CPR (within 3 months of hire)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified (within 3 months of hire)
Nice To Haves
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training
- Anger Management skills training
