About The Position
The Mental Health Technician provides direct support to patients receiving psychiatric or behavioral health care under the supervision of nursing and clinical staff. The role monitors patient safety and behavior, assists with activities of daily living, and helps implement individualized treatment plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Heart Association Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) certification within the first week of hire.
- Two years of experience in a mental health-related field with direct patient care responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient safety and behavior.
