Mental Health Technician - Older Adult Unit

About The Position
The Mental Health Technician provides direct support to patients receiving psychiatric or behavioral health care under the supervision of nursing and clinical staff. The technician monitors patient safety and behavior, assists with activities of daily living, and helps implement individualized treatment plans. This role is associated with the Older Adult Unit.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Heart Association certification is required.
- Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) certification must be obtained within the first week of hire.
- At least 2 years of experience in a mental health-related field with direct patient care responsibilities.
