Coordinate and supervise one to two residential programs specializing in support for individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. The role’s priorities are supervising and training mental health specialists and ensuring program services are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to a high standard. This is a full-time organizational position, though the role may be part-time within any given home. The schedule must be flexible to accommodate the needs of programs, individuals, and staff. The manager is always on call unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive emergency calls. The manager ensures direct-service shifts are filled by staff who meet Dungarvin’s employment conditions and are adequately oriented and trained. The manager may occasionally work direct-service shifts, normally for no more than 16 hours per week. Any need to exceed that amount must be reported to the supervisor in advance when possible, or as soon as possible otherwise. Schedule adjustments should be arranged with the director when necessary.
