About The Position

The Mental Health Program Manager coordinates and supervises one to two residential programs supporting individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. The role focuses on supervising and training mental health specialists and ensuring that all aspects of the programs are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. This is a full-time organizational position, though the role may be part-time within any given home. The schedule must be flexible to accommodate program, individual, and staff needs. The manager is always on call unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive emergency calls. The manager ensures direct-service shifts are covered by staff who meet Dungarvin’s employment conditions and are adequately oriented and trained. The manager may occasionally work direct-service shifts, normally no more than 16 hours per week; working more than that requires notifying a supervisor in advance when possible. Any necessary schedule adjustments should be arranged with the director. Starting salary is $65,000–$66,787.50 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The posting also advertises a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 and lists a $5,000 retention bonus.
