About The Position

The Mental Health Program Manager coordinates and supervises one to two residential programs serving individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. The role’s two key priorities are supervising and training mental health specialists and ensuring that all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. This is a full-time organizational position, though work within any individual home may be part-time. The schedule must be flexible to meet program, individual, and staff needs. The manager is always on-call unless prior arrangements are made for someone of comparable authority to receive emergency calls. The manager ensures direct-service shifts are staffed by employees who meet Dungarvin’s employment conditions and have been adequately oriented and trained. The manager may occasionally work direct-service shifts, normally no more than 16 hours per week. If more direct-service hours are necessary, the manager must notify their supervisor in advance, or as soon as possible if advance notice is not possible. Any necessary schedule adjustment should be arranged with the director. The listed annual starting salary is $65,000–$66,787.50, based on experience and potentially varying with skills and qualifications. The posting also advertises a $5,000 retention bonus.
