About The Position

Support the THRIVE Counseling Center in promoting mental health awareness and coordinating outreach initiatives. Assist in communication, event planning, and committee participation to foster mental wellness on campus.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the importance of mental health awareness on campus
  • Set up and assist with counseling center activities (e.g., Mental Health Mondays)
  • Facilitate campus-wide communication via campus groups and approved THRIVE social media
  • Create, design, and hang flyers and social media content to promote events
  • Attend, participate in, and take notes at monthly student mental health committee meetings
  • Assist with outreach, planning, and advertising of monthly mental health awareness activities
