About The Position

The Mental Health Clinician provides outpatient behavioral health services in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The role includes conducting mental health screenings and assessments, making diagnoses, and providing counseling and ongoing support. The clinician manages an ongoing caseload and develops meaningful patient relationships through individualized, patient-centered care. The average caseload is approximately five patients per day, with support from a full clinical team in a collaborative environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no nights, weekends, or call. There is potential to work remotely one to two days per week. Newly licensed clinicians are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Hold an active Pennsylvania Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
Be comfortable conducting mental health screenings, assessments, and diagnoses.
Have strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills.
