About The Position

Community Counseling Center (CCC) is hiring a contracted Mental Health Clinical Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment for children, adults, and families. The primary need is in Bollinger and Madison Counties, with contract availability throughout CCC’s catchment area: Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Madison, Perry, and Ste. Genevieve Counties in Missouri. The contract is for 4–16 hours per week.

Contract rates are $40 per hour for provisionally licensed therapists (PLPC or LMSW) and $60 per hour for fully licensed therapists (LPC or LCSW). Paid time includes required orientation, up to 40 hours; completed client sessions; and up to 20 hours of required annual training after the first year. Provisional therapists are not paid contract time for licensure supervision and must have a licensure supervisor with CCC. Contract staff do not qualify for benefits such as insurance coverage, ETO, or EMB/time off. Additional contract stipulations will be shared during the interview process.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a valid provisional therapy or counseling license (LMSW/PLPC); eligibility requires confirmation of a passed test.
• Valid driver’s license or State ID for the current state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family, and/or group therapy with assigned clients.
• Complete intakes, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and the DLA-20 as required by agency standards.
• Attend appropriate staffing, treatment planning, record review, and peer review meetings associated with clinical duties.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and other applicable federal or state program requirements and agency standards.
• Maintain the appropriate license by completing continuing education requirements and renewing the license.
• Follow up on missed appointments.
• Coordinate services with internal and external providers.
