Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of experience in Spokane, dedicated to understanding and addressing the varied needs of its clients and the community. FBH provides evidence-based treatment to adults, youth, and seniors facing a wide range of behavioral health issues. FBH offers a variety of client services, including outpatient, inpatient, community outreach, crisis services, and partnerships with schools and law enforcement. Their services are evidence-based, culturally appropriate, and trauma-informed, addressing diverse needs. The Youth & Adult Services Outpatient Services division offers a range of mental health and behavioral interventions for children, adolescents, and their families, with services that can be short-term or long-term. These services include Individual Counseling, Assessment & Referral, Anger Management, Coping Skills Development, Social Skills Training, Family Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Case Management, and Group Counseling, as well as Parent Support. The Mental Health Care Provider role focuses on delivering clinical behavioral health services across important life domains such as health, education, employment, social/family, cultural, recreation, spirituality/religion, and housing. These services are delivered using a client-centered, trauma-informed approach aligned with the clinician and recovery models to support client progress towards established goals. Services are provided to individuals of all ages in virtual, office, or community-based settings and include areas like sleep hygiene, mindfulness, emotional regulation, psychoeducation, referrals to community resources, cognitive coping, behavioral activation, communication basics, administering mental health measures, care coordination, crisis assessment and intervention, identifying strengths and values, group facilitation, and program orientation.
