About The Position

Myers Park Country Club is seeking a Men's Locker Room Attendant to provide members with a positive first impression through courteous, kind, and hospitable service. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and organizational skills, attention to detail, an energetic and positive attitude, and a professional demeanor. The role is eligible for commission.

The attendant provides personal services such as shoe shining, maintains supplies and inventory across the restrooms, showers, locker room, steam room, and fitness area, and performs general housekeeping. The position requires following safety precautions when handling cleaning solutions and supplies and operating equipment.

Requirements

• One year of prior customer service and/or custodial experience.
• Ability to recall member preferences.
• Exceptional character in the performance of job duties.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills, keen attention to detail, an energetic and positive attitude, and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to perform most work while standing, with frequent bending, stooping, and twisting.
• Ability to carry, push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds several times per shift.
• Ability to work in a wet, humid environment and walk on wet surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Greet members with courtesy, kindness, and a spirit of hospitality.
• Recall member preferences and demonstrate exceptional character in performing job duties.
• Perform personal services for members, such as shining shoes.
• Restock and maintain inventory of supplies in restrooms, showers, locker room, steam room, and fitness area.
• Perform housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, polishing, dusting, emptying wastebaskets, and maintaining clean restrooms and showers.
• Handle and store cleaning solutions and supplies safely, using them for their intended purposes and keeping them correctly labeled.
• Operate equipment, including the shoeshine machine and hand tools, according to manufacturer specifications.
