About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for their Vitalia Highland Heights location in Highland Heights, Ohio. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $19.00-$21.00 per hour. The role involves creating human connection with residents, understanding their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and setting the environment for a successful day. The Memory Care Support Partner will also assist residents with daily life activities, document care, and help orient new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms and event spaces to preparing resident rooms for their nighttime routine.
Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
