About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Active Adult Community at Rockside in Seven Hills, Ohio. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. We are looking for individuals who can be an "Advocate of Empathy," creating human connection with residents, a "Patient Observer" to understand resident needs and develop engagement plans, a "Master of the Mise en Scène" to set the stage for a successful day by preparing environments, and a "Life Partner" to assist residents with all facets of daily life. The role also involves documenting resident care, assisting with team member orientation, and ensuring a positive and engaging environment for residents in memory care.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments such as the dining room, library, or resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
