About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Ridgemere Senior Living in Conway, Arkansas. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $17.00-$19.00 per hour. We are looking for individuals who can be an Advocate of Empathy, a Patient Observer, a Master of the Mise en Scène, and a Life Partner to our residents. You will be responsible for creating human connections, understanding resident interests, setting the stage for a successful day, and partnering with residents throughout their daily lives. Excellent documentation of resident care and changes in condition, as well as assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods, are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining areas to setting up activity spaces and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
