About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Memory Care Homemaker to join our team at Hudson Grande in Hudson, OH. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, comfortable, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common areas. The Homemaker will also be involved in meal preparation and service, ensuring residents participate in dining and cleanup, and guiding residents to snacks and hydration throughout the day. Additionally, the role involves engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing support in the memory care neighborhood.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common area spaces.
Prepare and serve family-style dining, guiding residents in setting tables and cleaning up together.
Ensure residents are guided to snacks and hydration three times a day.
Engage residents and provide meaningful experiences as extra hands in the Neighborhood.
