About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Homemaker to join our team at Hudson Grande located in Hudson, OH. This part-time position is responsible for creating an inviting, comfortable, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common areas. The role also involves assisting with family-style dining, ensuring residents have access to snacks and hydration, and engaging residents in meaningful activities. We are looking for a positive and energetic individual who is at least 18 years old, has a high school diploma or equivalent, and possesses strong communication skills in English. The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to assist residents with mobility and after falls is also necessary, along with criminal clearance.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common area spaces.
  • Prepare and serve family-style dining in the dining room, guiding residents to participate in setting tables and cleaning up.
  • Ensure all residents are guided to snacks and hydration three times a day.
  • Engage residents and provide meaningful experiences as extra hands in the Neighborhood.
