Memory Care QMA
About The Position
The Memory Care QMA assists the nursing department with caring for, coordinating, and managing residents’ needs in the community, while following state regulations and Sonida Senior Living policies and procedures. The role includes helping residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming, as well as making beds and emptying trash. The QMA monitors and assists with medication provision according to facility policies and procedures, documents medication provision and services delivered, and records resident condition when appropriate. The QMA follows supervisor instructions and communicates resident health questions or concerns to the supervisor as needed.
Requirements
- Must hold a current, unencumbered license or certification recognized by the operating state to administer medications through a QMA, CMA, or state-required medication-passing certification.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification and/or first aid certification preferred.
Responsibilities
