About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for The Wildwood Senior Living in Joplin, Missouri. This part-time role involves providing empathetic care and support to residents in memory care neighborhoods. The position focuses on creating human connection, understanding resident needs, setting the environment for their day, and partnering with them throughout their daily lives. Responsibilities include documenting resident care, assisting with team member orientation, and ensuring resident safety and well-being.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining areas to setting up activity spaces and preparing resident rooms.
Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Documenting resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
