About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for a Full Time position at Vitalia Active Adult Community Mentor in Mentor, Ohio. This role involves creating human connections with residents, understanding their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and managing the physical environment to enhance the resident experience. The Memory Care Support Partner will assist residents with daily life activities, document care, and help orient new team members. Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care across 6 states and employs nearly 1,900 individuals. Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
