About The Position

Detroit Regional Chamber in Detroit, MI is looking to hire a full-time Membership Sales Manager to sell chamber memberships. This sales position earns a competitive salary of $50,000 a year, plus monthly commission and bonus opportunities. Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in sales
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with general computer skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of sales and networking tasks.
  • Manage a portfolio of prospective members and prospect for new members.
  • Work alongside the engagement team to share intel and assist with the onboarding, communication, and engagement process.
  • Keep track of each potential sale, making notes and adjusting the information within the system as needed.
  • Set achievable sales goals.
  • Travel around the Southeastern Michigan area, attending member events and committee meetings.
  • Participate in local networking events to uncover new prospects.
  • Cater to each potential member.
  • Build up our community.
