About The Position

AAA Central Penn is hiring a Member Specialist for its Harrisburg branch. This customer-focused position provides personalized, face-to-face support to members in a fast-paced branch environment. The specialist helps members understand and use their AAA benefits, supports membership growth and retention, completes a range of branch transactions, and connects members with relevant AAA travel and insurance services. The role starts at $17.65 per hour and offers opportunities to develop additional skills, including becoming a Notary Public and completing PennDOT services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to become a Notary Public in Pennsylvania within 12 months.
• Ability to pass a Pennsylvania State Police background check for PennDOT services.
• Strong communication skills when assisting customers in person, by phone, or online.
• Good listening skills and the ability to make helpful decisions.
• Comfort adapting to new situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic comfort using computers and multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide personalized customer service in the branch.
• Assist with new memberships, renewals, and account updates to support membership growth and retention.
• Provide member services involving maps, TripTiks, EZPass, and retail merchandise transactions.
• Provide passport photos, International Driving Permits, and foreign currency services.
• Complete PennDOT services, including title transfers, registration, and licensing transactions.
• Refer members to AAA Travel Advisors and Insurance Agents when appropriate.
• Promote AAA products and services by identifying opportunities to improve the member experience.
• Maintain AAA service standards and ensure interactions are positive and professional.
