Part-Time AAA Branch Customer Service Specialist in Harrisburg
About The Position
AAA Central Penn is hiring a part-time Member Specialist at its Harrisburg branch. The role provides personalized, face-to-face support to members, helps them make use of AAA benefits, and builds lasting relationships in a fast-paced branch environment. The position starts at $17.65 per hour. The Member Specialist assists with memberships, renewals, account updates, everyday member services, specialty services, and PennDOT transactions. The role also promotes AAA products and services and connects members with AAA Travel Advisors and Insurance Agents. The branch is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to become a Notary Public in Pennsylvania within 12 months.
- Ability to pass a Pennsylvania State Police background check for PennDOT services.
- Strong communication skills when assisting customers in person, by phone, or online.
- Good listening skills and ability to make helpful decisions.
- Comfort adapting to new situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic comfort using computers and multiple systems.

Responsibilities
- Greet members warmly and provide personalized customer service in a fast-paced branch environment.
- Assist with new memberships, renewals, and account updates to support membership growth and retention.
- Provide everyday member services, including maps, TripTiks, EZPass, and retail merchandise transactions.
- Provide passport photos, International Driving Permits, and foreign currency services.
- Become a Notary Public.
- Complete PennDOT services, including title transfers, registration, and licensing transactions.
- Refer members to AAA Travel Advisors and Insurance Agents as appropriate.
- Promote AAA products and services by identifying opportunities to enhance the member experience.
- Maintain AAA’s standards of service excellence and ensure interactions are positive and professional.
