About The Position

AAA Central Penn is hiring a part-time Member Specialist at its Harrisburg branch. The role provides personalized, face-to-face customer support in a fast-paced branch environment, helping members use AAA benefits and leave with a positive experience. The position starts at $17.65 per hour and offers variety, meaningful connections with the local community, and opportunities to build skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills when assisting customers in person, by phone, or online.
• Good listening skills and the ability to make helpful decisions.
• Ability to adapt to new situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic comfort using computers and multiple systems.
• Willingness to become a Notary Public in Pennsylvania within 12 months.
• Ability to pass a Pennsylvania State Police background check for PennDOT services.

Responsibilities

• Greet members warmly and provide personalized customer service and support.
• Assist with new memberships, renewals, and account updates to support membership growth and retention.
• Handle member services and transactions involving maps, TripTiks, EZPass, and retail merchandise.
• Provide passport photos, International Driving Permits, and foreign currency services.
• Complete PennDOT services, including title transfers, registration, and licensing transactions.
• Refer members to AAA Travel Advisors and Insurance Agents when appropriate.
• Promote AAA products and services by identifying opportunities to enhance the member experience.
• Maintain AAA’s standards of service excellence and ensure member interactions are positive and professional.
