About The Position

Member Services Specialists are responsible for delivering a high-quality customer service experience through the efficient onboarding and support of prospective, current, and former members. This position performs entry-level duties supporting members with routine inquiries, transactions, and services under direct supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of customer service or administrative experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to learn AMS software quickly.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line support to members via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Handles basic issues and refers to more complex matters to higher-level staff.
• Possesses a developing working knowledge of Association programs and systems.
• Assists members with basic transactions such as membership applications, renewals, payments, and services offered.
• Refers to complex questions or policy issues to senior staff.
• Understands how to look up, update and maintain accurate member records in the Association Management System (AMS).
• Maintains company established filing and record keeping systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
