About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides an exceptional experience to club members and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps create a clean, judgment-free environment where members feel welcome and supported. Representatives engage with members, encourage participation in fitness classes, introduce members to Black Card amenities, and provide service at the welcome desk. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a passion for helping others.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds.
- Be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch.
- Physical demands may also include communicating, climbing, and handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver +1% customer service and continually engage and encourage members in their fitness journeys.
- Help maintain a clean club environment.
- Find new and current members to join the fitness trainer in fitness classes.
- Introduce new and existing members to Black Card amenities.
- Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
- Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
- Assist with other club responsibilities.
- Be passionate about the work, demonstrate leadership, and encourage members to have fun.
