About The Position

Planet Fitness is seeking a part-time Member Services Representative to create a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front-desk activities, membership inquiries and updates, and supports the club’s cleanliness and daily operations. The position is based at 1912 Larkin Road, Tifton, Georgia.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Basic computer proficiency.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Answer phone calls in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Take prospective members on tours.
Sign up new members and calculate rates and monthly payment amounts.
Assist the Club Manager with counting the cash drawer as needed.
Facilitate updates to member accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
Help maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness, including completing assigned tasks during the first hour of the shift, priority cleaning, periodic walk-around and bathroom checks, and special cleaning projects.
Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
