About The Position

The Renaissance Pointe YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Membership Services Representative to serve as a YMCA ambassador. The representative delivers efficient, effective, and member-focused service to a diverse community, helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals and families can connect, grow, and thrive. The role provides friendly service to members by phone and in the facility and supports member satisfaction and communication needs.

Requirements

• Must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Applicants who are 18 or older must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, reliable, self-motivated, and able to handle stress well.
• Attentive to details, organized, and proficient in clerical and computer skills.
• Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Responsibilities

• Build effective, authentic relationships with members.
• Maintain member satisfaction and address communication needs personally and professionally.
• Provide friendly service to members by phone and in the facility.
