About The Position

The Renaissance Pointe YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Membership Services Representative to serve as a YMCA ambassador. The role delivers efficient, effective, member-focused service to a diverse community and helps create a welcoming, inclusive environment where individuals and families can connect, grow, and thrive. The representative builds authentic relationships with members, supports their satisfaction and communication needs professionally, and provides friendly service by phone and in the facility.

Requirements

At least 16 years old.
Applicants age 18 or older must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Dependable, reliable, self-motivated, and able to handle stress well.
Attentive to detail, organized, and proficient in clerical and computer skills.
Able to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
Committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne.

Responsibilities

Build effective, authentic relationships with members.
Maintain member satisfaction and address communication needs in a personal yet professional manner.
Provide friendly service to members by phone and in the facility.
