About The Position

Trona Valley Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Member Service Specialist for its Green River Branch. The role is the first point of contact for members, assisting with daily transactions and account services while providing exceptional support. The position contributes to members’ financial success in a team-oriented environment.

The successful candidate delivers service aligned with Trona Valley’s standards, maintains a professional and welcoming environment, demonstrates knowledge of credit union products and services, and accurately processes member transactions. The role also requires adherence to credit union policies and federal regulations, including BSA compliance.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience in customer service or financial services.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard.
• Ability to build relationships and resolve first-level conflicts diplomatically.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily teller transactions and assist with opening and closing accounts, CDs, and digital services.
• Provide accurate information about Trona Valley products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve member issues within the role’s authority or refer them to appropriate staff with recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Act as a liaison between members and internal departments.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
• Adhere to Trona Valley policies and federal regulations, including BSA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Deliver excellent member service aligned with Trona Valley’s standards.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of credit union products and services.
• Accurately process all member transactions.
• Maintain a businesslike appearance and professional demeanor.
