About The Position

As a Member Service Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for members, delivering a high-quality, service-focused experience in a fast-paced branch environment. You will process daily financial transactions, address member inquiries, and build relationships through personalized service. You will support members with everyday banking needs while identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well-being. Comprehensive training is provided, and the position is designed as a foundational entry point into banking, with opportunities to develop skills and advance into other roles within the organization. The position is full-time and on-site at the Muhlenberg Branch in Temple, Pennsylvania. Regular shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with rotating Saturday shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Compensation is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour; hiring rates may depend on directly related experience, education, geographic location, and special skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 1–3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and PCs.
• Alternative education and experience may be considered.
• If bilingual in Spanish, pass a verbal language-proficiency assessment during onboarding.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, banking, or the financial services industry.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Process everyday banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, and account questions.
• Provide friendly, personalized service to members.
• Identify member needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Resolve account issues and escalate complex concerns when needed.
• Support branch operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
