About The Position

Scott Credit Union is hiring a Member Service Representative for its East Belleville Branch in Belleville, Illinois. This full-time, fully onsite role is a primary point of contact for members, processing transactions efficiently and accurately, educating members about the credit union’s products and services, and providing an exceptional member experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotations as scheduled. The role includes operating and balancing a teller terminal, handling assigned cash, completing required OFAC screenings and BSA-related tasks, responding to member concerns, and referring members to relevant financial services. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience.
Personal computer experience, including Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Operate the online teller terminal, accurately record amounts received, and prepare transaction reports.
Perform required OFAC screenings under the Non-Member Verafin Processing policy and report positive matches to the BSA Group.
Complete BSA requirements, including CTRs and SARs.
Build and maintain member relationships by providing prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous service.
Investigate member concerns, research issues, and recommend resolutions to branch management.
Help ensure member service satisfaction expectations are met.
Educate members about Scott Credit Union products and services, including referring them to FSRs, mortgage, business lending and services, and investments.
Open and close the teller terminal daily; account for assigned, received, and disbursed cash; balance accurately to the teller terminal close report; and submit daily work to the Teller Supervisor for disposition.
