About The Position
Kohler Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Member Service Representative to join our Contact Center team. Starting wage is between $17.45-$19.50 per hour, and no prior financial experience is required. This is a great opportunity to begin a career in financial services while making a real difference in the lives of our members. Location: Training in Sheboygan, WI, with the opportunity to transition to the Mequon Branch upon completion of training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across different communication channels
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to follow compliance and regulatory requirements
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide support to members via phone, chat, email, and secure messaging
- Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and deliver accurate, timely solutions
- Identify and recommend products and services that meet members' needs
- Assist with account-related services such as debit cards, account updates, and mobile deposit verification
- Maintain accuracy and ensure compliance in all interactions and documentation
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve service goals and enhance the overall member experience
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
