About The Position

Kohler Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Member Service Representative to join our Contact Center team. Starting pay is $20 per hour, and no prior financial experience is required. This is a great opportunity to begin a career in financial services while making a real difference in the lives of our members. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for members, delivering high-quality support through phone, chat, email, and secure messaging. You will assist with questions, resolve concerns, and guide members toward solutions that support their financial goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across different communication channels
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to follow compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to members via phone, chat, email, and secure messaging
  • Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and deliver accurate, timely solutions
  • Identify and recommend products and services that meet members' needs
  • Assist with account-related services such as debit cards, account updates, and mobile deposit verification
  • Maintain accuracy and ensure compliance in all interactions and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve service goals and enhance the overall member experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
