About The Position

ACU is hiring a Member Service Representative II to serve credit union members in person and by phone at its Spanaway Branch. The role involves processing transactions, providing guidance, managing account details, handling ATM and Visa Debit card requests and issues, and balancing daily transactions and cash totals. The position is part-time, 38 hours, with a day shift. Branch hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The posted pay range is $20.05–$30.80 per hour, with a target hiring range of $20.05–$25.66. Candidates with the minimum six months of financial institution experience, including new account experience, can expect to start at $20.05 per hour. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of financial institution experience; new account experience is preferred.
• Must be bondable.
• Quick and accurate computer skills.
• Friendly interpersonal skills and the ability to make members feel welcome.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivation and organizational skills, including the ability to work under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of financial institution experience.
• Experience handling loans and new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Assist credit union members with transactions in person and by phone in a friendly manner.
• Handle a variety of transactions and provide guidance to members.
• Develop expertise in teller transaction codes and check cashing.
• Manage accounts with attention to detail.
• Issue, reissue, or hot-card ATM and Visa Debit cards.
• Assist members with issues related to unauthorized ATM or Visa Debit card use.
• Balance daily transactions and cash totals accurately, efficiently, and promptly.
• Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with credit union employees.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in assigned training sessions.
