About The Position
OE Federal Credit Union is hiring a Member Service Representative I or II to develop, expand, and maintain relationships with credit union members. The role involves understanding members’ financial needs, recommending relevant products and services, processing transactions, and providing a high-quality service experience. The representative works under direct supervision from a manager and collaborates with colleagues across departments and branches. The salary range is $21.42–$23.59 per hour, based on working in Martinez, California.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Engage members and provide a courteous, helpful, high-quality service experience.
- Educate members about and cross-sell products and services that address their financial needs.
- Promptly process member transaction requests for applicable credit union products and services.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver efficient service.
- Maintain professionalism and foster positive internal and external relationships.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of credit union products, services, promotions, applicable laws and regulations, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
