Member of Technical Staff (Web Security)

We are seeking an experienced Engineer with a strong passion for Security to join our team at ThoughtSpot. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing state-of-the-art security solutions and services for our SaaS platform. You will also play a key role in defining and implementing strategies to continuously improve the secure SDLC and security posture of our products and services. Additionally, you will collaborate with various service teams to review and provide guidance on security matters and contribute towards achieving industry certifications and compliance requirements.

• Architect and implement state-of-the-art security solutions and services for ThoughtSpot SaaS
• Define and help implement strategy and technical roadmap for continuously improving secure SDLC and security posture of our product and services
• Implement frameworks and best practices for securing endpoints, networks, applications, mobile apps, infrastructure, and proactive threat detection and mitigation
• Work across service teams to review and provide guidance around security and help resolve identified security and compliance risks
• Help define and manage KPIs to measure and improve the health of security initiatives
• Contribute towards achieving various industry certifications and meeting compliance requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in the industry
• Strong programming skills in any language (Python, Go, Java)
• Security concepts and domain knowledge
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools, pen-test, Veracode, Blackduck, OWASP fundamentals, threat-modelling, application security assessment, cloud environment configuration, OS level vulnerability management
• Experience in cloud-native technologies like containers (Docker), Kubernetes in a hybrid Cloud environment
• Expertise in delivering security features for SaaS platform
