About The Position

The Member Experience Associate delivers outstanding service and value to AAA Members through attentive, personalized service across multiple branch locations. The role is accountable for individual sales targets and contributes to overall branch success as an individual contributor. Associates rotate between branches based on business needs and must adapt quickly to different teams, Member bases, product lines, services, and systems. The position combines Member services and product sales. Associates use consultative sales techniques to identify Member needs, recommend relevant solutions, and close opportunities while promoting the value of AAA Membership. They support fundamental service areas including Member Experience, Member Services, Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, and Smart Home Security. Responsibilities may also include growth skills depending on branch needs. Work takes place in a variety of branch office environments. The role requires flexibility to work different shifts and branch locations, travel regularly between locations, and work Saturdays. Physical activities may include standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting up to 15 pounds; the work involves extensive use of computer systems and video display terminals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
2–4 years of work experience, including at least 1 year in a sales role; sales experience is required.
Chinese or Spanish bilingual ability is required.
Ability to adapt, travel between locations, and flexibly cover shifts at multiple branches.
Strong customer-service orientation, active listening, problem-solving, communication, and sales skills.
Ability to identify customer-specific needs, generate sales, retain existing business, and meet individual goals.
Proficiency with multiple computer systems and applications, with the ability to adapt to different systems and processes.
Ability to follow operating procedures and compliance requirements.
Ability to work Saturdays and at different branch locations.
Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 pounds.
Bonding/fingerprinting and Property & Casualty licensing may be required depending on branch needs.

Nice To Haves

Background in insurance, retail, hospitality, service industries, or call centers.
Demonstrated success working with defined sales standards and goals and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized Member service and product sales across assigned branch locations.
Meet individual sales targets and contribute to branch goals by promoting AAA products and services.
Use consultative sales techniques to uncover Member needs, present relevant solutions, and close sales opportunities.
Provide and learn services across fundamental skill areas, including Member Experience, Member Services, Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, and Smart Home Security.
Adapt solutions, communication style, and work practices to Member needs and the environment of each assigned branch.
Build product and service knowledge and develop cross-functional capability across service and sales responsibilities.
Use multiple computer systems and applications and adapt to different branch configurations and processes.
Follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements, support efficient end-to-end processes, and demonstrate fiduciary accountability.
Travel between branch locations as needed and cover shifts at multiple locations, including Saturdays.
