About The Position

Curant Health is seeking a Member Care Assistant / Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) to join their growing team. The position begins with a 90-day onsite training period in Smyrna, GA, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. After the training period, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule with working hours of 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the clinical services team, which includes enrolling patients into Care Management from assigned clinics, providers, and/or direct patient outreach initiatives. The CMA will review and document in EHRs, contact referrals to explain the benefits of Curant Health, and enroll them appropriately.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ clerical/clinical experience in a healthcare setting

Nice To Haves

  • Registered as either a Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant in Georgia is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support as assigned by the manager, including printing daily mailings in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performing data entry, and completing other clerical or clinical tasks.
  • Deliver a superior customer experience by effectively communicating with all stakeholders—including patients, providers, pharmacies, and other partners—via phone.
  • Support the MEOT Team by assisting with tasks and activities that promote improved patient adherence.
  • Organize and prioritize daily workload to align with company goals and departmental priorities.
  • Ensure clear, accurate, and complete documentation at all times.
  • Work independently to complete daily tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude within the department.
  • Consistently professional demeanor, reflected in communication, conduct, and approach to problem-solving.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity in all aspects of the role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned while maintaining full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
