About The Position

At Local Fare Jax, we connect families with locally sourced food from trusted farmers. Every order represents real relationships between our members and our farms, and we take that responsibility seriously. We are hiring a Member Care Representative who can deliver fast, accurate, and thoughtful support while helping improve the overall member experience. This is not a call center role. It is a member success and operations role focused on care, onboarding, and retention.

Requirements

  • 2 plus years in customer service, hospitality, logistics, operations, or admin support
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Clear, calm communicator who handles pressure well
  • Reliable and consistent, especially with Tuesday through Saturday schedule
  • Comfortable working in systems and following structured processes
  • Strong sense of ownership and follow through
  • Interest in local food, community, or mission driven work

Responsibilities

  • Respond to member inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve order issues, delivery questions, and account needs with accuracy and urgency
  • Support new members through their first 90 days to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Help members customize orders and get the most value from their subscription
  • Identify and support at risk members to improve retention
  • Manage order adjustments before weekly fulfillment deadlines
  • Track and document all member interactions clearly in our system
  • Spot recurring issues and help improve internal processes
