About The Position

In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensure there are carts ready and available. You will also assist our members helping them load their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you. You will sweep us off our feet if you thrive in fast-paced environments, are a multi-tasker at heart, keep member satisfaction as your top priority, can stand for long periods of time while assisting members quickly and accurately, and are a problem solver who tackles obstacles head-on to ensure each task is completed with excellence. Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain availability of carts and flatbeds for members
• Assist members with transporting and loading purchases into their vehicles
• Operate cart retrieval equipment according to company policies and procedures
• Proactively identify members who need help, engage them, and provide friendly, helpful service
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness and a safe, well-kept exterior environment
• Conduct safety sweeps; follow procedures for handling merchandise; correct and report unsafe situations to management
• Properly maintain equipment and ensure carts and flatbeds are organized and stocked in the correct locations
• Promote Sam's Club products, services, and memberships throughout every interaction
