About The Position

TRUE Community Credit Union is looking for a Part-Time Member Advisor to join their team at the Dearborn Branch. This role is suitable for individuals with prior experience in roles such as Bank Teller, Universal Banker, Personal Banker, Member Service Representative, Financial Services Representative, Customer Service Representative, or Retail Associate who are passionate about assisting people, fostering relationships, and making a positive daily impact. As a Member Advisor, you will serve as a reliable point of contact for members, offering excellent service and support for their daily financial needs. Your responsibilities will include processing transactions, managing account services, and offering lending solutions, all while helping members achieve their financial objectives. Each interaction presents an opportunity to build trust, enhance relationships, and ensure a positive member experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
One year of banking, retail, cash handling, customer service, sales, or related experience preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfort using technology and learning new systems

Responsibilities

Assist members with their everyday banking needs.
Provide personalized financial solutions.
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other account transactions accurately and efficiently.
Open and maintain deposit accounts.
Assist with consumer loan applications.
Educate members on fraud prevention and account security.
Recommend products and services that support members' financial well-being.
Deliver outstanding customer service.
Identify member needs.
Build lasting relationships through every interaction.
