About The Position

Sunol Creek Memory Care, an Agemark Senior Living community in Pleasanton, California, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician for a part-time evening-shift role. The position supports residents by safely administering medications according to physician orders and care plans, maintaining accurate records, monitoring residents’ well-being, and assisting with personal needs while preserving dignity and independence. The technician builds relationships with residents, families, and team members and contributes compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift. Requirements

• Meet all California-specific training and certification requirements for Medication Technicians.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Have basic computer skills for electronic medication tracking and documentation.
• Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Be available for the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Document medication administration clearly and accurately.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Create a positive environment through compassion, patience, and positive energy.
