About The Position

Sunol Creek Memory Care, an Agemark Senior Living community in Pleasanton, California, is hiring a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician to support residents. The role involves safely administering medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans, accurately documenting administration, monitoring residents’ well-being, assisting with daily living needs, and building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members. The position is part-time, on the evening shift, with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• Meet all California-specific training and certification requirements for Medication Technicians.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Have basic computer skills for using electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
• Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Be dependable and available to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Clearly and accurately document medication administration.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
