About The Position

Anchor Bay Pocasset is seeking a Medication Technician (CMA) to join its Resident Care team and provide direct care to senior residents in a safe, home-like environment. The role includes medication assistance, documentation, and management, as well as personal care and support for residents’ daily activities. Team members collaborate across departments to foster cooperation, inclusion, and mutual respect. This is a full-time position with a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM shift in Johnston, Rhode Island. The starting hourly rate is $22.

Requirements

Hold certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA).
Be able to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, with and without assistance.
Communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
Be punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

Provide medication assistance, documentation, and management.
Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
Join or lead resident activities.
Track care and other tasks using the electronic health record system.
Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
Work across departments to promote cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
