About The Position

Columbia Cottage is hiring experienced Medication Technicians / Caregivers for its assisted living community in Linglestown, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on medication administration and hands-on care to improve residents’ quality of life. Employees provide personalized support in a warm, home-like setting and help residents with daily living activities.

The starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with shift differentials. The listed evening shift is 2:45 PM–11:15 PM. All positions require working every other weekend and holiday unless otherwise noted. The position is part-time with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medication Technician certification.
• Experience in assisted living, senior care, or healthcare.

Nice To Haves

• Diabetes training.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications according to physician orders.
• Assist residents with taking medications safely and effectively.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Accurately document medication administration in the MAR.
• Obtain vital signs, blood glucose readings, and other ordered measurements.
• Provide residents with encouragement, education, and emotional support.
• Deliver hands-on care and assist residents with daily living activities.
